Mark Weetman, the battle-hardened trader, turned Founder and CEO of Unum Capital – a financial services company with assets under management in excess of R1,5billion that’s taking the financial industry by storm. 

Mark’s qualifications are a BCom (Hons) Finance and an MBL from Unisa’s Business School which he obtained in 1996. Before starting his journey with Unum Capital, Mark spent years on the trading floor, honing his skills and developing a deep understanding of the markets. He’s been battle-hardened by his experience and knows how to navigate even the toughest of situations.

He has held several senior positions such as Head of Financial Derivatives, CEO and Key Individual at several Trading and Asset Management companies such as PCS Futures, Absolute Alpha Investment Management, Nedbank and Vunani.

Mark will be the Key Individual and be an executive member of the GP and the 3 ECP’s and he will also be an executive member and chairman of the investment committee.
